Walk & Travel

What dog walking accessories do you really need?

For daily walks, start with a well fitted harness or collar and a sturdy leash. Add a reflective or LED collar for low light, then build from there with a carrier for longer trips. Below is the range we carry for walks and travel with dogs and cats. If you are not sure what fits your routine, think about where you go most: city pavements, trails, the car or a flight.

Our walk and travel range

• Harness and leash sets for dogs and cats
• Dog leashes with comfortable handles
• Collars with bells, reflective strips and LED lights
• Muzzles in basket and mesh styles, for use under guidance
• Carrier bags, backpacks, slings and front packs
• Strollers, wagons and rolling carriers
• Car seat carriers and beds

Choosing a travel pet carrier

A travel pet carrier should let your pet stand, turn around and lie down. Weigh your pet and compare with each listing, then measure shoulder height. For flights check the airline's own rules, since they differ. A dog travel bag with breathable mesh suits short trips, while a stroller helps small or older dogs on long outings.

For car travel, use a car seat carrier or cage that suits your vehicle and stay within the weight guidance. Let your pet explore the carrier at home for a few days with treats before the first trip. Match the item to your pet's size, and replace straps or clasps that show wear. This is general guidance, not veterinary advice.
