Umgee Printed Collared Puff Sleeve Top

A collar and a puff sleeve pull in opposite directions, one tidy and one soft, and that tension is what makes this top interesting. The collared neckline keeps it looking considered while the sleeves add volume and a little vintage character. The fabric is 70% Polyester, 27% Rayon , 3% Spandex and it is slightly stretchy. It is lightweight and flowy, so it skims rather than sits tight, and the small share of spandex means it gives a little at the sleeve and shoulder as you reach. The bust runs from 33 inches at S to 34 inches at L, with the top length moving from 23 to 24 inches across the same range. It is a tailored silhouette, so the fit is close through the body.

The easiest thing to do with it is denim. A straight leg jean and a flat shoe make it a daytime top without any thought. It also works tucked into a skirt when you want the collar to read a bit more polished, or with shorts on a warm afternoon. Because the print and the sleeve are already doing plenty, plain bottoms and small jewellery keep the whole thing from tipping over.
