Pocketed Denim Shorts

Denim shorts with real pockets and a button front, cut short enough for summer and sturdy enough to keep wearing every year after. These are the pair you throw on over a swimsuit and then somehow wear for the rest of the day.

They are made from a 85% cotton blend with no stretch, so they hold their shape and soften with wear the way good denim should rather than sagging out at the seat by lunchtime. The button fastening and pocketing keep the whole thing practical.

Sizes run S through 2XL. The waist starts at 29.1 inches and opens to 35.4 inches, with the hip moving from 39.8 inches to 46.1 inches, and the bottom length staying short across the range at 14.2 inches up to 15.7 inches. Because there is no stretch in the fabric, it is worth measuring your waist and sizing to it rather than assuming the denim will give.

Six colors are available, including a classic blue and black alongside khaki, caramel, apricot and a grey and white mix. Wear them with a tucked tank and sandals, or with an oversized shirt left open over the top.
