Eudora Textured Decorative Button Dress

A long, quietly confident dress that gets all of its personality from texture rather than print. The surface has a subtle raised weave that catches the light as you move, and a row of decorative buttons runs down the front to break up the column and give the eye somewhere to go. A zipper handles the actual closing, so the buttons stay purely a design choice.

It is made from 100% polyester that is slightly stretchy, and the body is not lined. The length is genuinely long: 52 inches at S rising to 53.1 inches at XL, so on most people this falls near the ankle. Bust runs from 33.9 inches at S to 40.2 inches at XL, waist from 29.1 to 35.4 inches, and hip from 35.4 to 41.7 inches. Sizes run S through XL and there are two colorways, white and black.

The white version is the warm weather one. Flat leather sandals, a straw bag, sunglasses, done. The black version does something different entirely and turns into an evening dress with almost no effort: add heeled sandals and one strong piece of gold jewelry and it holds its own at dinner. Both take a denim jacket well for the walk home, and a slim belt at the waist will change the silhouette completely if you want more shape than the cut gives you.
