How the size calculator works

How does the clothing size calculator work?+
Answer a few quick questions about your height, weight and shape (you can add bra size or exact measurements for a tighter result). It estimates your body measurements and matches them to a standard US size chart to give your general size. It then saves your fit profile, so every product page recommends the right size for that specific item automatically.
What size am I in US women’s clothing?+
US women’s sizes run roughly XS (bust 31 to 33in), S (34 to 35in), M (36 to 37in), L (38 to 40in), XL (41 to 43in), then 1X to 3X. The calculator places you against the full chart on this page from your own measurements rather than a single number.
Do I need a tape measure?+
No. Height and weight alone give a solid estimate. If you have a tape measure, adding your bust, waist and hip makes the result exact, because every size chart is built from those three measurements.
What if I am between two sizes?+
The tool tells you when you are on a boundary and which way to lean based on your fit preference. As a rule, size up for comfort or a relaxed look, and size down for a closer fit, especially in stretch fabrics.
Is my information saved or shared?+
Your fit profile is stored privately in your own browser (and on your account if you are signed in, so it follows you across devices). It is used only to recommend sizes to you and is never shown to anyone else.
