Velvet Sleeveless Ruched Slit Dress
Velvet turns any evening into an occasion, and this sleeveless dress uses it beautifully. Ruching gathers softly along the side to flatter the waist, while a slit keeps the long line easy to move in.
It is made from a 95 percent polyester and 5 percent spandex velvet that feels plush with a slight stretch. The fabric is unlined and holds the ruched detail without looking bulky.
It comes in dark green, black and burgundy, so it slips easily into a holiday party, a winter wedding or a night at the theatre with heeled boots and a bold lip. Velvet always feels a little more expensive than it costs, and the three deep colours make it a versatile base for gold, silver or a jewel toned wrap.
