Fit Finder Privacy

Fashorio (“we”, “us”) provides Fit Finder to help you choose the right size with more confidence and to reduce returns. This notice explains what Fit Finder collects, how we use it, and the choices available to you. It covers Fit Finder specifically; our Privacy Policy governs your use of the rest of our store.
Who is responsible for your data
Fashorio is the data controller for the information you enter into Fit Finder. We built and operate the size recommendation ourselves. We do not use a third-party fit or sizing service, so your measurements are not transmitted to any outside provider for processing.
What Fit Finder collects
Only what you choose to enter:
- Your height and weight.
- Optionally, your bust, waist and hip measurements.
- Optionally, your bra size, age, and your answers about body shape and how you like clothes to fit.
- Your preference for whether we pre-select your recommended size.
Fit Finder does not collect your name, email address, payment details, or your browsing history, and it does not track you across other websites.
How we use it
Your measurements are used for one purpose: to compare them against the measurements published for each product and suggest the size most likely to fit. The recommendation is arithmetic performed on your figures and the product’s own size chart. We do not use your measurements for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to recommending a size.
Where it is stored
- On your device. Your fit profile is saved in your browser’s local storage. If you are not signed in, it stays there and nowhere else.
- On your account. If you are signed in to Fashorio, your profile is also saved to your customer account so your size is available when you shop from another device. It is visible only to you and to us.
Who we share it with
No one. We do not sell your measurements, share them with advertisers or data brokers, or send them to any third-party fit service. They are not included in any marketing or analytics data we collect.
How long we keep it
Your profile is kept until you delete it. It has no expiry date, because a saved size is only useful if it is still there next time.
Your choices
- Using Fit Finder is entirely optional. You can shop and check out normally without entering any measurements.
- Delete your profile at any time by opening Fit Finder on any product page and selecting “Clear my profile”. This removes it from your device and from your account.
- Clear individual measurements from the edit screen without deleting the whole profile.
- Turn off auto-apply if you would rather we did not pre-select your size.
Accuracy, stated plainly
Fit Finder compares your figures with the measurements published for that product. Where you have supplied tape measurements, we use them as given. Where you have not, we estimate from your height, weight and shape answers — and the result labels those numbers “est.” so you can see which are which. Some size charts list the body a size is cut for; others list the garment measured flat. We tell you which is being used. A recommendation is a well-founded starting point, not a guarantee of fit.
